Job Description

The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support in functional areas of human resources department, including HRIS, personnel records, benefits/COBRA, recruitment and onboarding. Position will also include preparing, supporting and/or maintaining the following:

  • Employee Time and Attendance
  • New hire/Benefits Orientation
  • Maintain Job Descriptions
  • Monthly HR News/Updates
  • Reporting including headcount, insurance, COBRA, 125 Plan, EEO etc.
  • Assist with payroll preparation
  • Data research and analysis as it relates to compensation and/or benefit activities

Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years minimum experience as HR Assistant
  • Benefit Administration
  • Recruiting experience, a plus
  • Excellent people, written and verbal skills
  • Successful candidate will have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within HR field
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office- word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat DC
  • Experience using HRIS system (SAP) a plus
